Ingredients:
For Chicken Marination:
1 Tablespoon of fresh Lemon Juice
1/2 Teaspoon of Salt,
1/2 Teaspoon of Turmeric powder &
1 Tablespoon of Red Chilli power.
For Cooking:
1 Tablespoon of Garlic finely chopped,
1 Tablespoon of Ginger finely chopped,
1 Big Size Onion chopped,
1 Small Size Tomato,
5 freshly chopped Green Chillies,
3 Tablespoons of Refined Oil,
1 Tablespoons of Butter or 1 small cube of butter,
2 Tablespoons of fresh finely chopped coriander leaves for garnish,
Salt to taste.
Procedure:
Take the boneless chicken in the Bowl for Marination. Add Lemon Juice, Salt, Turmeric powder and Red Chilli Power into the bowl and mix the whole thing properly and all the chicken pieces are properly mixed into the Marination. After covering the bowl, keep the whole marination undisturbed for nearly 1/2 hour.
After 1/2 hour, take non stick fry pan on medium flame. Add 1 tablespoon of oil into the pan. Once the oil is heated up, add chopped onions and fry the onions until its light golden in colour and its well cooked. Take the onions off the flame and keep it aside. Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the same non-stick pan. After the oil is heated up, put the gas flame on medium and add finely chopped ginger and garlic into the pan. As the ginger and garlic turns brown add marinated boneless chicken to the pan. Stir the chicken continuously on medium flame for nearly 5 minutes. Turn the flame on slow and cover the pan with lid. Let the chicken cook on slow flame for 10 minutes. In-between stir the chicken as the chicken dint get burnt. After cooking the chicken in all for 15 minutes, raise the gas flame to medium and add finely chopped tomato and stir continuously till the tomato get cooked. Add already fried onions, chopped chillies and salt to the chicken and stir continuously at medium flame. Cook the chicken for 5 minutes then add butter and finely chopped coriander leaves to the top and cover the lid of the pan and turn off the gas flame.
After 5 minutes, open the lid of the pan mix the chicken in the pan and the delicious and Spicy Chicken Tawa Fry is ready to be served with Rice.
